The research directions group nine questions by subject and connect each to its conceptual background. The reading guide provides paths through that background.

Create one Markdown file per idea. Begin with a precise question, state the assumptions, choose a baseline, and identify a result that could change the initial conclusion. Use TEMPLATE.md as a starting point and refine the proposal as evidence develops.

The research practice examples offer small, expandable exercises by topic. Check related work and refine a question before treating it as a novel research contribution.
